Watergate Salad. Our family subbed in walnuts for the more expensive pistachios. I added pistachio nuts this holiday. It was a hit and now everyone thinks I'm "fancy." lol

For dessert on fancy nights, my mother put a slice of canned pineapple on top of a lettuce leaf, topped with a dollop of mayo. 😋
